Summoned demon is a demon with the ability to use blood magic. He was summoned by Terrence McHone to take revenge on his enemies. He is one of the antagonists of Writing Her Own Story.

Writing Her Own Story

Centuries ago, the demon lost a war against demon hunters, losing control of Ylatt Tower. He fled to the demon realm, vowing to reclaim control of the tower once more. Now in the present day, he found himself summoned by Terrence. Taking this as an opportunity, he planted artifacts in three areas, then got Terrence’s help to extract blood to power his ritual to unveil the tower.

When Terrence was no longer useful, he disposed of him. He was then eventually defeated by Gina Evelyn, Char Fairfield, and Gertrude Rosenfeld, though he managed to curse Gertrude before dying, making her unable to distinguish friend from foe.

Personality and traits

The summoned demon is a schemer who works in the shadows. He plans many steps ahead and uses minions to achieve his goals, even sacrificing them if needed. When forced into combat, he employs cunning and underhanded fighting styles to gain the advantage.

Magical abilities and skills

• Blood magic: The demon can extract blood to power rituals, reshape it into weapons, and curse it to dehibilitate his enemies.
• Burrowing: When forced into direct combat, the demon makes use of the ability to burrow beneath ground to surprise his foes.
• Marking teleportation: By marking a spot on the ground, the summoned demon can return to that location at a later time. With this method, he can retreat when necessary.
• Shadow minions: He employs minions to restrain and attack his targets, even when they are distant.

• Snake staff: Loaned to Terrence, this is used to extract blood from victims to power rituals.
