Lana is a spirit born from the Bermudan ocean.
History
Lana is one half of the spirit that now lives in Kaia’s hairpin. Lana and Sierra were originally a single entity who worked to maintain the balance of the sea, but when defeated by a sea dragon called the leviathan, one of the most dangerous sea monsters, they escaped by escaping into a hairpin they had made with their magic and went dormant. At that time, she and Sierra were separated and became two entities.
After that, she seemed destined to lay there, waiting to be forgotten. One year before the story began in Bermuda, Kaia picked them up while was walking on the beach and awakened her, triggering her first transformation.

Personality and traits
Lana has a gentle nature and does not get angry very often. She is basically compassionate, to the point that she will give her opponents the opportunity to avoid fighting, even against threats such as ferocious sea monsters, with exceptions such as the leviathan.
But at the same time, she has a strict side, and once she decides on something, she will ensure that it is carried out. For that reason, that strict woman obeys the rules of New Salem and the real world.
Lana doesn’t like how she can’t do anything for the sake of the ocean, and is saddened by the fact that maintaining the balance of the sea is left to Kaia. So she looks for ways to overcome this situation by doing all she can, like learning about the weaknesses of the sea monsters and strengthening her magic.
Lana considers the ocean to be her birthplace and something worth protecting. She fights sea monsters to maintain the balance of the sea. She also tries to clean up the beaches and uses magic to improve the quality of the water.

For that reason, she can only devote herself to providing support in battles in Bermuda and wherever during the daytime.
- Growth magic: This magic is used to transform Kaia. It is mainly used to strengthen her support magic. It temporarily transforms her into a glamorous figure, her hair becomes long, and her hair color turns light blue. The result is that her range is improved and the types of magic available are increased compared to when Kaia grew up.
- Support magic: In addition to the magic Kaia can use, Lana can also use other types of magic such as recovery magic, magic that makes her attacks inevitable, and invisibility magic. Her spells can also target more than five people at once.
- Fission body: As a spirit, Lana can create a fission body. The body can talk and move on its own, but has no combat power. It looks like a chibi dolphin about 25 cm in size.

ラナはバミューダの海から生まれた精霊です。
経歴
ラナは、現在カイアの髪留めに住んでいる精霊の片割れです。
ラナとシエラは元々は一つで、昔から海のバランスを保つために活動していたが、海の魔物の中でも危険なレヴィアタンと呼ばれる海竜に負けた際に、魔法で作った髪留めに逃げ込み難を逃がれ休眠することとなりました。それ際にシエラと分離し2人となりました。
その後はそのまま忘れ去られるのを待っている運命かと思われましたが。バミューダで物語が始まる一年前に、海浜を歩いていたカイアに拾われ、目覚めることとなりました。
なお、その時に初変身を遂げることとなります。
ラナは、自分達が力を貸す代わりに、カイアは海のバランスを保つと言う条件で契約をし今に至ります。

彼女は主にカイアに魔法を与えてサポートしていました。
またカイアの親友になったジーナとジェーンにも力を貸し、ノーサンプトンの事件の解決に貢献しました。
性格・特性
ラナは穏やかな性格で、あまり怒ることはないです。基本的に慈悲深い性格で、それはたとえ凶暴な海の魔物などの脅威に対してもレヴィアタンなどの例外を除けば選択肢を与えるほどにです。
しかし、同時に厳格な一面も存在し、一度何かを決めればそれを確実に実行しようとします。
それゆえに、厳格な彼女はニューセーラムや現実世界のルールを守りながら行動しています。
ラナは、自分が海の為に動けない状況を良く思っておらず、海のバランスを保つ使命をカイアに任せている現状を憂いています。
そのため、海の魔物たちの弱点や魔法の強化など自分ができる事を精一杯やり、この現状を打開できる策を探しています。
ラナは、海に関しては生まれ故郷であり、守るべきものと考えています。
海の魔物との戦いは、海のバランスを保つために行なっています。
そのほかにも、砂浜の掃除活動をやろうとしたり、水質の改善の為に魔法を使う事もあります。
趣味は、読書で人間界のことをもっと知りたいと思っている。
特に観光雑誌が好きで、理由としては旅行に行った気分になるからだと言う。
魔法の能力・スキル
ラナは、精霊の中でもマナの保有量が優れています。
補助魔法が得意で、相手を助ける事に長けています。また、カイアと比べても使える種類や効果が増えたり、範囲が広がっていたりします。
反面、攻撃魔法は彼女には使えず、使用する為にはシエラと交代する必要があります。
ゆえに、バミューダなどでの昼の戦闘ではサポートに徹することしかできなくなります。
- 成長魔法：カイアを変身させるための魔法です。主に補助魔法を強化する為に使われます。
一時的にグラマーな姿と化し、髪型もロングヘアーに、髪色も水色となります。効果としては範囲がカイアが成長した際よりも改善されて、使える種類も増えます。 - 補助魔法：ラナは、カイアが使えていたものに加えて、回復魔法や、攻撃を必中にする魔法、姿を見えなくする魔法なども使えます。
対象も5人以上同時に掛けることが可能です。 - 分身体：ラナは精霊としての分身体を生み出せる。
その身体は会話をし、自律して動くことができるが、戦闘力は皆無。
なお、見た目はデフォルメしたイルカみたいな見た目をしており、25cmほどの大きさである。
所持品
- 海の精霊の髪飾り：ラナとシエラが住んでいる髪飾りです。見た目は波の宝石が付いた、アメリカピンという感じです。
この髪飾りを介して、カイアと会話をし、時には変身をさせます。
一時的に契約することで他人に対しても回復魔法などの追加魔法は使えませんが、効果を発揮します。対象が元から保有している魔法とシナジーして強力な魔法が生まれることがあります。
しかし、彼女が拒否すると使用ができなくなり、場合によっては対象者に負担を与える結果になります。
