With Ainsley’s help, Chloe establishes a connection with the Japanese magical community in order to send Nadeshiko and her friends back to their homeland, Japan.

However, Ainsley relays that they have no intention of coming to New Salem. Therefore, Chloe must go to Japan herself.

To prepare to leave New Salem, she must take Fia’s classes to learn about humans and the outside magical communities. Although she now had tasks to complete before leaving, Chloe did not find them burdensome; instead, she took this first step toward a foreign land to put the fairies’ minds at ease.
