Wishing stone

A wishing stone is an object that is used to grant its user a single wish. Its ability depends on the amount of magical power it contains. While a wishing stone with a large amount of power can grant a wish exactly as intended, one with little power can only grant a wish partially. After a wish is granted, the stone disappears.

When making wishes, using a wishing stone is preferred over relying on a djinn’s interpretation. Regardless of the method, both wishing stones and djinn are rarely encountered.

Production

Wishing stones can only be created by djinn. In the creation process, the djinn compresses their magical energy into a single point, which then crystallizes into a stone. The time it takes to create a single wishing stone corresponds with the amount of magical energy used, ranging from 10 minutes to a week.

Djinn despise being forced to create wishing stones. If wishes are used to coerce them, they will twist the wish in their favor. On the other hand, if a djinn is feeling generous or if someone has gotten on a djinn’s good side, then they may be gifted with wishing stones.
