Unexpected residence

This scene occurs after Rescuing Jane. The barrier over the city is dissolving, and bits and pieces of the city continue to break apart and fly into the sky. Aislinn has an idea, and decides to plant her seed into the mana transfer point. It grows quickly and uncontrollably large, so Aislinn flies into the tree to rein in its growth. Eventually it stabilizes and the tree generates its own barrier.

Everyone is happy that they are no longer in danger, but Jane realizes that Aislinn isn’t coming out. She calls out to her and waits a long time but there is no response. Ainsley and Gina comfort her as she cries.
