Overworking

When it comes to art contests, Jane likes to put her all into her work. Unfortunately, she has a tendency to work so hard that she neglects to rest. Aislinn finds this concerning, especially since Jane’s well-being affects her mana recovery.

“Jane, you don’t look so well. You should take a break,” Aislinn would often tell her.

“It’s okay, I can keep going,” was the inevitable reply.

One day she gets sick and collapses. As she recovers, she takes Aislinn’s advice and scales back her effort to work at a slower, but more sustainable pace. Jane gradually makes progress on her art and in the end submits it.

And all that’s left is to wait for the results.
