The vampire guardian Gertrude calls upon Gina and Jane, famous in magician circles for saving New Salem from a catastrophe, to solve a series of supernatural murders. If they agree to help, she will provide them a full-ride scholarship to their university.
However, Jane doesn’t want to be involved in yet another troublesome incident and, as a fairy, Aislinn doesn’t trust vampires. Still, Gina seriously considers the offer because she desperately needs all the tuition assistance she can get.
